Hi, I'm Caitlin—Founder of Soaring Minds
If you’ve landed here, you probably care deeply about helping kids grow and thrive—and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve spent the past several years working with young children and their families in a wide range of settings: from classrooms in the U.S. to international schools in Nepal, and in both high-resource and under-resourced communities. Along the way, I’ve seen the same truth show up again and again: every child learns differently, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for everyone.
When learning becomes hands-on and multisensory—when kids can move, touch, and play as they explore letters and sounds—something clicks. They feel confident. They feel capable. And that’s where the magic happens.
A little about my background
I’m a certified elementary and special education teacher with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University. I’ve also received training in dyslexia intervention and have spent years supporting families and students both inside and outside of the classroom.
But what matters most is this: I’ve seen how the right tools, introduced early and in the right way, can make a huge difference in how a child feels about learning—and about themselves.
Why I started Soaring Minds
I created Soaring Minds to offer playful, effective learning tools that are grounded in research and designed with care. Our first product, the Multisensory ABC Literacy Kit, helps children build foundational literacy skills through touch, movement, and joyful connection. Whether your child is just beginning to explore letters or needs a different way to engage with reading, our goal is to meet them where they are.
This work is also deeply personal to me. That’s why 10% of our profits go toward supporting the Early Childhood Development Center in Nepal, where young children and their mothers receive early education and essential resources.
You’re not alone
Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or educator, I want you to know you're not in this alone. Soaring Minds is here to support you and your child with tools that feel good to use—because learning should feel like an adventure, not a struggle.
Thank you for being part of this journey, and for all you do to support the children in your life.
With care,
Caitlin Flanagan
